In shaping the advertising series for the Clark's "Lin May Saeed: Arrival of the Animals" exhibition, we delved into a multifaceted approach, weaving Lin May Saeed's compelling narratives with strategic design choices. Embracing the theme of interspecies solidarity, our design process extended to digital retouching of the sculptures, ensuring a meticulous removal of backgrounds to accentuate the raw textures and essence of each piece. By placing these sculptural wonders against contemporary, vibrant colors, we aimed to create a stark contrast that draws the viewer's focus squarely onto the intricate details of the artwork. This careful curation, in harmony with the Clark's recognizable branding, not only enhances the visual impact across digital and print billboards but also aligns seamlessly with the exhibition's narrative. The result is a captivating series that not only respects Saeed's storytelling but also serves as a compelling invitation to explore the profound connections between humanity and the animal kingdom within the unique setting of the Clark.
