MCLA Season 23

Capturing Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts' (MCLA) rendition of "Urinetown" for archival and promotional purposes became an immersive endeavor led by MILKCRATE. To ensure an authentic portrayal, our team participated in rehearsals, meticulously examining the timing, lighting, and on-stage dynamics. This direct engagement facilitated a nuanced comprehension of the production's intricate elements. Through in-depth analysis of the rehearsal, MILKCRATE discerned subtleties in the actors' movements, the interplay of light and shadow, and the overall cadence of the performance. Armed with this comprehensive understanding, our team endeavored to craft evocative images that genuinely conveyed the audience's experience. The objective extended beyond mere documentation; we sought to encapsulate the emotional depth and atmospheric essence of "Urinetown." These visuals stand not only as a valuable archival resource but also as a captivating promotional tool, aiming to offer a vivid glimpse into MCLA's engaging production.
